The special feature: the right (wool) mixture makes it
The fabric is a balanced blend of New Zealand merino wool and cotton. Compared to pure wool stockings, these toe socks are lighter, more durable and easier to care for - but do not heat up uncomfortably when worn. The yarn mix is coordinated so that the stockings can be worn on cool and cold days. On very cold days the combination with Silk stockings or a conventional wool oversock.
The merino wool is pleasantly soft, does not scratch and does not absorb odours. The natural keratin of the wool is also a natural protection against bacteria and germs.
The right care - our recommendations
These Knitido toe socks are made larger during production and then shrunk in hot air. They therefore do not shrink further during washing under normal circumstances. Please wash the socks clockwise, at a maximum of 30°C with a wool detergent in the wool washing cycle. Laundry bags protect the fabric and keep pairs of socks together. For better cleaning before washing, pull the toe pockets out of the inside of the sock, they should disappear inside when taking off the sock. Never cut loose threads on the inside of the socks as this will cause holes to form.
